Overview

DAY 1: We meet early on Thursday 21 November for the Research Symposium. This is a full day of research paper presentations, panel sessions and insights from our invited keynote speakers. We conclude with an early dinner, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the long spring evenings of Canberra.

DAY 2: We continue Friday morning with a half day Paper Development Workshop (PDW). Last year, the focus of the PDW was: What makes an excellent introduction? Building on this, the focus of the PDW in 2019 is on conceptual development and framing of contributions.

This day will give you the opportunity to work with senior academics as mentors and other participants to give and receive feedback, develop your skills, and hone your papers for journal submission.

The events will also include the Annual General Meeting, with a discussion of ongoing initiates and future plans.
